Okay, if you can’t tell by the title, this is trashy romance, emphasis on the trash. 
I think the trope is ridiculous as is, but hey, I felt like reading trash and I got this to satisfy that craving.
So, the basic gist is that Viv and her stepbro Brand have had this little secret almost-not-quite relationship their entire lives. It starts off with a love scene, and then goes backwards in time. Then, when it catches up, it repeats the scene over again. So she basically copied and pasted the entire prologue again. 
That ticked me off, tbh. It adds to the word count and makes you think it’s a longer book when it’s not.
There’s a lot of scandals that would be absolutely shocking in a soap opera. In fact, that’s what this reads like. I can’t say I was really entertained the entire time but it’s so short that by time I realized this was too boring to go on, it was over.
As is, I don’t even think fans of the stepbrother trope will like this.
